Natural Carpets with a Contemporary Twist
One of the standout features of Alternative Flooring is their use of natural materials. These carpets do not just look good. They also reflect a more sustainable approach to interiors. If you are after that organic, calming feel, their Coir and Seagrass collections are a brilliant place to start.
Coir is made from coconut husk fibres, giving it a firm feel and rustic texture that is ideal for entrance areas, hallways and stairs. The natural golden tones add a warm, earthy touch to your space while being durable enough to cope with footfall. At Floorlinesdirect, we offer various weaves and patterns within the Coir range so you can find the exact look that fits your décor.
Seagrass carpets are soft in tone but resilient in performance. Grown in coastal paddy fields, seagrass brings a fresh, neutral look to your flooring with a slightly waxy texture that resists dirt. These carpets are particularly suited to living spaces where you want a laid-back but smart aesthetic. The Alternative Flooring Seagrass collection includes classic basket and fine weaves that work in both modern and traditional homes.
Tactile, Textured and Full of Style
If texture is what you are after, then the Sisal Bubbleweave collection is worth a closer look. Sisal is a strong fibre derived from the agave plant and is a popular choice for people who want something natural yet hardwearing. The Bubbleweave range takes this material and gives it an extra layer of depth with a raised looped texture that adds comfort underfoot and visual interest across the floor.
Sisal carpets work beautifully in bedrooms, hallways and even offices. They bring a clean, natural look while standing up to daily use. We stock the full Alternative Flooring Sisal Bubbleweave collection so you can choose from soft neutrals, rich browns and greys to get the right tone for your space.
Carpets with Personality
Not every carpet needs to blend into the background. If you are after a bold statement, the Rock n Roll and Quirky collections are designed to turn heads. These are not your typical beige floorcoverings. They are made for homes and businesses that want personality underfoot.
The Rock n Roll collection features edgy stripes and rhythmic patterns that energise a space. Whether you are kitting out a home office or making a dramatic entrance in the hallway, these designs are made to be seen.
The Quirky collection pushes pattern to the forefront. From bold geometrics to playful designs, these carpets are perfect for injecting fun into interiors. The Quirky Cube range, for example, delivers a modern, three-dimensional look that adds depth and movement to any room. These carpets are ideal for those who want to make a design statement without compromising on quality.
